A personal note about me:

I have a great sense of humour and enjoy a laugh whenever I can.  I believe whole-heartedly laughter is good for us. I spent 3 wonderful years at Humourversity learning all I could about not only developing my laughter but understanding the huge benefits of laughter and how to pass that onto others.

I also love walks in nature, cooking, movies, reading books, going to the gym, laughter yoga, meditation, live concerts and all kinds of music.  My favourate gym classes are pilates, zumba and cycle.  I love having fun and enjoy time with family and friends.

I live in Upper Ferntree Gully in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and love traveling to where-ever my work takes me.  My brother does my garden and I feel so blessed to have beautiful roses and scents covering my verandah.  Nature is amazing!

I absolutely love animals and there are lots of birds, dogs and cats where I live that often come to say hello.  When I have left a door open I have often found a neighbours cat happily stretched out on the carpet in my lounge waiting to say hello... that's pretty awesome!

Whilst I follow a vegan diet I never put my views onto others.  I respect we all have a right to live life the way we want.  It's a personal choice.  I'm a simple eater.  Give me lettuce leaves & a tomato and I'm happy!  Favourite snack:  bananas Yum!

I've loved traveling - from USA to the Middle East - meeting new people and enjoying new experiences.  I'm passionate  about contributing to making the world a better place.  I've represented Australia a number of times in the  USA at various conferences.  I also represented Australia in Turkey at a Peace Conference in 2015 and received a Peace Award that year from Turkey.  I've had my own local newspaper column for around 9 years writing mainly on positivity & happiness to inspire the best in others.  I enjoy being part of initiatives that create more inclusion, peace and love in the world.  In Tennessee in the USA I signed The Santa Claus Oath committing to doing just that!

I've always loved being creative.  I've won may awards for my photography and my books (I've authored and co-authored more than 14 and not all under my own name).  It's been fun and rewarding.  Check out my new resource book for community, social and recreational activities click here

Part of the reason I love being a support worker is that I get to meet a diverse range of people and positively support them to reach their goals and dreams.  I love using positive approaches that inspire the best and happiest version of the person I am working with!

I strive to live a heart-centred life.

Thanks for getting to know me a little better and I look forward to getting to know you!
